The build started from the same place most do: the X3 Pro is brilliant value at 53 kg and 5 kW, and the temptation is to spend money everywhere at once. This one went the other way — suspension and brakes first, power last.
That order matters. Fork internals and a decent set of pads transformed how hard the bike could be ridden on Welsh rock far more than any controller change would have, and they did it without adding heat, current or warranty questions.
The parts that did not earn their place were the cosmetic ones. A graphics kit looks superb for exactly one wet ride. Everything fitted here is in the UK parts shop, filtered by model so the fitment is guaranteed — including the boring, unglamorous items that made the biggest difference.
